Bataleon Astro AsymWrap 2025

The 2025 Bataleon Astro AsymWrap is a comfortable, responsive and durable all-mountain, mid flexing binding. Built to work hand-in-hand with the smooth ride of Bataleon snowboards, these bindings offer a responsive highback and baseplate, giving you full heel-toe control while carving on groomers or slashing through powder, but still fun enough to ride in the park while tweaking every trick imaginable. With the extra padding through the foot and ultra-comfortable Infinity ankle and toe strap for added response, the Astro AsymWrap is certainly aiming to be a player in the high-end binding market.

Flex: Medium/Stiff - 7/10 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

Board Compatibility: This binding uses the Mini Disc which is compatible with boards featuring a 2x4 mounting system and the Burton Channel system. Not compatible with 4x4 mounting systems.

Base Plate: AsymWrap Chassis

Bataleon's AsymWrap Chassis was designed for maximum tweakability while still having a surfy, easy riding feel underfoot. This true freestyle shaped chassis offers a great strength-to-weight ratio. It also features an adjustable baseplate with canted, adjustable padding that helps fit a wider range of boot sizes.

High Back: Astro Fullback

The lightweight, three-faceted design of the Astro Fullback is made of 86% nylon and 14% glass fiber giving a highback that is nice and responsive while carving but still playful enough to tweak when needed. This highback is fully adjustable with a tool free forward lean adjuster and can be rotated to follow your heelside edge for better energy transfer.

Straps: Infinity Ankle Strap + Infinity Toe Strap

The Infinity Ankle Strap offers next level comfort with its pre-curved, form fitting geometry to distribute pressure toward the edges of the strap to eliminate pressure points.

The Infinity Toe Strap was designed with 3D Auxetic Shape Technology to make a hinged pattern that expands around the boot without any distortion. This offers unmatched grip and comfort for your feet.

Additional Features:

2° Canted Footbed

This angled footbed puts your knees and body in the most natural and ergonomic position on the board, reducing fatigue and letting you ride longer.

Sub-base Padding

By using a dual-density sub-base cushion, the padding offers a more responsive ride and comfort underfoot compared to traditional EVA.

Kink Ladder

The Kink Ladders allow you to change the feel of how your bindings ride but choosing a high or low position on your boot. Use the lower option for a more surfy feel and the higher for more powerful response.

TwoStep Toe Ladder

Two positions for each side of your toe strap to customise the fit for any boot shape and size.

ToadGrip Heelrubber

An extra grippy rubber traction pad protects the back of your boot and keeps it locked in at all times.
